MJ Dead.

I'm sure you've already heard a billion times by now that Micheal Jackson is dead. Theres already been thousands of tributes, lovely little facebook messages, dedications.... etc. etc. which is all quite moving.

Did everybody love Micheal Jackson? It seems that way at current, but beforehand I thought that it was split 50.50 pretty much.

I think this is largely dependable on whether you think he was a pedophile or not... If he wasn't then it's a shame to lose an innocent music artist who admittedly realeased some amazing songs. On the other hand, if he was a pedophile, the phrase "What comes around goes around" really springs to mind. Sorry if this offends people, but I do believe he was a pedophile. I can't really imagine my Dad thinking it was ok to share a bad with children and it not to cross his mind "Hmmm this might appear weird...".

I've had two encounters with pedophiles in my life, but thankfully nothing has ever happened to me. Once was a man at the pub (it was a family party) who kept on trying to offer me chips with his grimy friend. I got a bad vibe off them and when they started trying to make me go outside with them I ran in the toilets crying. They also kept on taking lots of photos of me randomly which I found unnerving. I got shouted at because I was crying, for what appeared to be no reason, until my Dad worked out what had happened. All hell broke loose; the man refused and denied all knowledge, but lots of people had saw what he had been doing. The bar staff told me Dad to get out instead of the other two men, and it was US that got banned.

The next time I was walking home in my school outfit to my Nanas. This man started walking quickly behind me so I crossed the road, then he crossed. So I went to cross the road again when: -
"Excuse me, excuse me" He had a think derbyshire accent. He was tall and thin with round glasses.
He told me he was a photographer and that I should consider modelling. Perhaps innocent? Well:
"Have you ever considered wearing stockings...No? Do you wear skirts?...... Could I ask would you wear stockings if you were wearing a skirt?"
I started to edge down the street, saying no to everything. He got the hint (and probably a hard on in the process ergh). But if in both of these situations I had been alot more naive than I was, it could have easily ended in trouble both times and perhaps ruined my chance of a normal life.

Even thinking about that makes me feel wrong, like I did something bad when nothing at all happened, so god knows what it's like for someone who has actually suffered that form of abuse. I can't justify that in any case, and therefore I can't justify myself to feel anything towards Micheal Jacksons death. The only shame is that it makes us question our own mortality. But obviously, if you don't believe that he was a pedophile, you would have a totally different view.

I wonder how many of his singles will soon be in the top 40's again, how many times rumours will circulate, and how much truth will come out then?
